Dominique & Lisa: If you’ve ever read James Thurber’s The Thirteen Clocks and enjoyed it, then you will surely like Neil Gaiman’s Fortunately, the Milk. It’s a humorous, silly, and highly coincidental book that doesn’t compare at all in tone and atmosphere to Gaiman’s darker children’s book, Coraline, but instead is a jovially spun tale that’s fun to read aloud. We plan to read more of Neil Gaiman now. What else can we say? This is Neil Gaiman week (and maybe Neil Gaiman month!). We plan to follow him into the graveyard and the land of the Frost Giants.
